Information you provide may include your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and payment details when you make a donation, sign up to volunteer, or contact us. We use donor information to process your donation, send tax receipts and acknowledgment emails, report on organizational impact, and, with your consent, to send future fundraising communications. We do not sell, rent, or trade donor information to third parties. Donor records are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years to comply with IRS non-profit recordkeeping requirements.
If you apply to volunteer with DNPN, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, availability, skills, and relevant background information provided in your application. This information is used solely to coordinate volunteer activities, communicate deployment opportunities, and maintain organizational records. Volunteer information is shared only with relevant DNPN staff and team coordinators on a need-to-know basis. We retain volunteer records for the duration of your engagement with DNPN and for a reasonable period thereafter.
Your information is stored on secure servers operated by Base44, Inc., our technology platform provider, and by Stripe, Inc. for payment data. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Access to personal data within DNPN is limited to staff and volunteers who require it to perform their duties.
