WHO WE ARE
DNPN Corporation was founded in 2018 by Cabo Verdeans, for Cabo Verdeans. We are a registered non-profit humanitarian organization dedicated to rapid disaster response across the ten islands of the Cabo Verde archipelago.
OUR MISSION
Cabo Verde sits in the path of Atlantic tropical systems. Our island nation faces hurricanes, flash floods, droughts, and volcanic activity — often with little warning and limited infrastructure to absorb the shock.
DNPN exists to close that gap. We pre-position supplies, train local responders, and maintain 24/7 coordination networks so that when disaster strikes, we are already moving.
Since our founding, we have responded to 14 major emergencies, reached over 3,100 people directly, and built a network of more than 200 trained community volunteers.
OUR VALUES
Speed
We deploy within 48 hours. When disaster strikes, every minute matters.
Transparency
100% of donations are tracked and reported publicly. You deserve to know your impact.
Community
We work alongside local communities, not above them. Their knowledge guides our action.
Resilience
We build systems that last beyond the emergency, strengthening Cabo Verde for the future.
